Tanya Diggs

Tanya M. Diggs is a marketing consultant with over 20 years of experience in advertising, brand marketing and strategy. She has worked for top multicultural advertising agencies as an Account Director at Walton Isaacson and as the Vice President of Engagement Marketing and PR for Burrell Communications Group for the Lexus and Toyota brands, respectively. Ms. Diggs has also held senior level marketing positions with Sony Electronics, Honeywell Aerospace, AT&T, Gateway Computers and other internet companies and is YouTube Certified.

As a marketing consultant, her primary role has been to develop business plans and strategies focusing on creating new revenue streams by generating excitement and brand affinity with targeted general market and multicultural consumers. Within advertising and consumer markets, her experience spans across multiple industries in Strategic and Integrated Marketing, Alliances and Partnership Marketing, as well as Business Development. Ms. Diggs received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. She is currently a board member of the Mobile Film Classroom, which provides digital and media education and instruction for underserved youth.

For over twenty years, Karen Lewis has served as Founder and President of Going Public PR, a boutique PR communications resource for talent, corporate and media clients. She has built an innovative team comprised of communications strategists, who provide strategic insights, tactics and activations across varied categories. Ms. Lewis specializes and has an expertise in consumer engagement, media relations, digital/social media engagement, corporate communications, faith-based outreach, multicultural & millennial marketing, reputation management, and social responsibility.

Currently headquartered in Los Angeles, her agency’s services scale to both national as well as regional activation (sample markets include Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington DC). Ms. Lewis is a native of Los Angeles and a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. She currently serves as Advisor to the Watts Community Healing Garden, the only cleantech garden of its kind, as well as sits on the LA Council of the National Women’s History Museum.
